What’s really the best anti aging wrinkle cream? There’s so many choices and so much information out there that it's very difficult to tell fact from fiction.
I’ve pretty much always been obsessed with my skin, especially my face. I’m not sure why because I’m really not vain (REALLY!), but I’m thankful that I’ve taken care of it over the years. After all, your face is the first thing that people see. Since I’ve always been in the “people business”, I’ve been a little more aware of how I present myself.
I guess it started in my teens when I had acne. In the olden days, we thought that the products that you used on your face (i.e., Clearasil) and what you washed your face with (Noxzema) had everything to do with how your complexion looked. We know a lot more about acne now (I’ll save those details for another blog), but at least that’s what started my habit of taking care of my face.
And so my semi-obsession with the anti aging wrinkle cream world began.
As I got older and wiser – and after many years spent as a sun worshiper – I slowly became aware of the need to stay as young looking as possible. I figured that I’d better know what the best anti aging wrinkle cream was at the time. Again, I’m grateful that I was conscious of these things so I used products that I thought were good for the skin.
We’re really pretty lucky though because there are always new, revolutionary key ingredients being introduced to the market. Call me a geek but I like to keep up to date on what these are.
But how many times have you read about another anti aging wrinkle cream that claimed to be the best?
It’s my mission (and my job actually) to be aware of the best products out there. I can't help but wonder though - what is the best anti aging wrinkle cream?
There are lots of products out there and the price range varies tremendously. There’s something for everyone, no matter what you can afford.
Myself? I’ve spent a fortune over the years in my quest for the best anti aging wrinkle cream but my rationale was, “heck, it IS my face for crying out loud”.
I was frequently told that I looked younger than my age which inspired me even more to take care of my face. I guess that helped me justify (to myself) that it was ok to keep spending more and more money looking for the best anti aging wrinkle cream.
Now, I’m VERY aware of the best anti aging wrinkle creams out there because, I admit, I didn’t take real good care of my skin for about a year – but I have a pretty good reason.
Towards the end of 2006 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and went through a mastectomy and chemo. For a long time I felt really lousy and taking care of my face was the last thing on my mind – I had to take care of trying to overcome this awful disease.
I’m happy to say that I’m cancer free now and finally feel like my normal self again. So, for the past 6 months or so, I’ve been desperately trying to get this old face looking better again. The good news is this: It really is possible to reverse the signs of aging. I’m living proof!…..and I know how to find the best anti wrinkle skin care cream.
